The Inhaler NLS series is Mission’s new line built for the next generation of roller hockey players. The Inhaler legacy continues with the NLS: 3, a skate boasting many of the same technology as Mission’s previous top end Inhaler models. This skate is perfect for competitive roller hockey players looking for a customizable look and fit with a high performance.
The NLS: 3 is built off of a reinforced Tech Nylon quarter, a material popular in high end roller hockey skates for its stiffness and support and last seen in the Inhaler DS: 1 skate. The NLS: 3 was designed to have an anatomical fit, the Tech Nylon quarter gives this boot a close all around fit and also has the nice property of being fully thermoformable. With the already anatomical shaping, Mission allows the NLS: 3 to provide an even better more custom fit after the baking process which is going to feel more comfortable, decrease break-in time, and make the skate all that more responsive.
What really makes the Inhaler series stand out is going to be features that help justify its name, its breathability and airflow. Playing roller hockey indoors or outdoors is hot and the Inhaler NLS: 3 feature an all new vent shape on both sides of the quarter package. The toe box is also molded with vents on the sides and top for maximum airflow while skating. Even the tongue is covered with vented mesh to promote breathability to let heat and sweat escape from the skate! It’s with these innovations the NSL: 3 is uniquely a roller hockey specific skate, but aesthetically, this line screams roller hockey style.
Mission made this skate customizable when it comes to the skates overall look. They returned the colored heel chips made popular in the previous Inhaler line so that you can mix and match with any uniform.
The boot sits atop a lightweight, injected TPU outsole with the HI-LO Aluminum Chassis mounted to it. This chassis is engineered for balance and agility using two 76mm wheels in the front and two 80mm wheels in the back. The idea behind HI-LO is that big wheels go in the back for more speed, while the smaller wheels in the front are for more control. The wheels the NLS: 3 features are Revision’s Variant Classic wheels which come complete with HI-LO ABEC 9 bearings.
